Coaching

Whether you’re training for your first Marathon, exploring Trail and Ultras, chasing a Personal Best or returning to running after time away, coaching should adapt to you—not the other way around.

At Endurance Dynamics, every programme is built around your goals, your experience, your lifestyle and the person you want to become. We combine running science, practical coaching and genuine human connection to help you train with confidence and perform at your best.

Some athletes arrive with years of experience. Others are lacing up their shoes for the very first time.
What matters isn’t where you’re starting. It’s where you’d like to go. We regularly work with runners who are:

Preparing for their first race.
Returning after time away from running.
Working towards a new personal best.
Balancing training with work and family life.
Looking for structure after years of self-coaching.
Curious about how science can improve their performance.

COACHING THAT
EVOLVES WITH YOU

Great coaching isn’t a static training plan.

As your fitness improves, your confidence grows, your life changes and your goals evolve, your coaching should evolve too.

That’s why we developed the Endurance Dynamics Performance Cycle™—a continuous process of learning, planning, coaching and refinement.

Rather than building towards one finish line and starting again, each training block helps us better understand you, allowing every decision to become more personalised and more effective.

UNDERSTAND

Learn about the athlete
Every coaching decision begins with understanding.
We’re constantly learning more about you through data (Metrics, KPIs), training, recovery, lifestyle, and the factors that influence your performance. That understanding continues long after your first conversation.

DESIGN

We build your strategy
Your programme is then built specifically around your current fitness, available training time and your goals
Running sessions, strength and conditioning work, recovery, nutrition and race planning work together as one integrated strategy, not as separate pieces.

COACH

Train. Learn. Adapt.
Coaching is more than delivering a training plan. It should be deeply rooted in Running Science.
It’s an ongoing partnership where your data tells a story.
We review your training, answer questions, make adjustments, celebrate progress and adapt your programme as life and goals change.

EVOLVE

Keep improving
Every race, every training block and every training session give us new data.
We use real data insights to refine your training ongoing, helping you to continue progressing with confidence over the long term.
Growth isn’t a finish line.
It’s an ongoing process.

Coaching that supports the whole athlete

Your programme includes far more than a weekly running schedule. Endurance running is multi-faceted, and we do not believe in lining any runner up for a race until they have all the building blocks in place.

Every athlete receives:

Meet your coach

Peru Fourie

Coach Peru combines sports science, his own experience as an athlete, his experience coaching hundreds of athletes, and a genuine curiosity about people to help athletes build confidence alongside performance.

His approach has been shaped not only by formal education and endurance sport, but also by a belief that coaching starts with understanding the individual before designing an individualised programme.

If you’d like to learn more about the experiences that shaped his coaching philosophy, you can read his story here.

HOW WE GET STARTED

Before we build a training programme, we build an understanding of you.

Every coaching relationship begins with our Performance Discovery process.

Athlete journeys

Different runners. Different goals.
The same commitment.

Some athletes arrive hoping to complete their first marathon. Others want to qualify for Boston, run an ultra-marathon or return confidently after time away from running. Different goals. Different journeys. The same commitment to thoughtful, personalised coaching.
